Mr Rohit Shetty is a distinguished consultant orthopaedic surgeon who has made significant contributions to the field of complex spinal surgery. His areas of expertise include spinal surgery, back pain, neck pain, spinal osteoporosis, sciatica, and lumbar herniated disc. 

Mr Shetty graduated from Manipal University in India in 1995 before obtaining his master’s degree in trauma and orthopaedic surgery in 1997. His training continued with a diplomate of National Board in trauma and orthopaedics in 1999. He has, to date, successfully completed a handful of fellowships in various aspects of spinal surgery at Royal Berkshire in Reading (UK) Centre for Spinal Studies and Surgery, Queen’s Medical Centre, Nottingham (UK) Inselspital in Bern and the Swiss Olympic Medical Centre at the Schulthess Klinik in Zurich (Switzerland).

Mr Shetty's primary subspecialty interest lies in adult reconstructive deformity and his surgical skills extend to both conservative and operative management. Mr Shetty actively contributes to the medical community and is a current member of the British Association of Spine Surgeons (BASS).

Dr Rhys Evans is a highly experienced and esteemed associate professor of renal medicine and consultant nephrologist at the UCL Centre for Kidney and Bladder Health, Royal Free Hospital. He specialises in acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, electrolyte disorders (tubular kidney diseases), hypertension, kidney infections and kidney transplantation, and currently practises at the Cromwell Hospital, the Royal Free London Private Patients Unit, and St John and St Elizabeth Hospital.

Dr Evans studied medicine at Cambridge University and University College London Medical School, qualifying in 2007. He has sub-speciality expertise in transplantation, including donor and recipient assessment, as well as all aspects of post-transplant care. He is the deputy lead of the UCL Centre for Transplantation and is principal investigator on a number of clinical trials. He also has sub-specialty expertise in the management of patients with inherited and acquired tubular kidney diseases, including unexplained electrolyte disorders, and helps run the clinical service of the London Tubular Centre.

Dr Evans is an academic clinician with a diverse research portfolio. He was awarded a PhD from UCL for translational work investigating the impact of salt on the immune system during which he provided the first description of immunodeficiency in patients with inherited salt-losing tubulopathies. He continues to investigate changes in immunity in patients with tubular kidney disease and hypertension.

He was awarded the UCL Oliver Wrong Prize for an outstanding contribution to Renal Physiology research in 2021 and is a member of the British Transplant Society and the International Society of Nephrology but to mention a few. His other focus is aimed at improving the care of patients with kidney disease in low-resource settings, which he has done in a number of different countries worldwide.

He has previously worked as a clinical lecturer at the University of Malawi and has published widely on the epidemiology of kidney disease in Africa and novel tools to detect it. He has a friendly approach to medicine and strongly believes in shared decision making with patients and their families.

Dr Cetti, who has been a respiratory physician since 2009, also has a strong level of expertise in pulmonary fibrosis and bronchiectasis. Dr Cetti successfully completed his specialist training at Downing College, Cambridge University, and University College London, officially qualifying in 1998 after obtaining an MBBS from University College London. Mr Jonathan Joseph is a leading consultant ENT surgeon based in London with a specialist interest in rhinology. He treats conditions such as chronic sinusitis and nasal deformity that causes both functional and cosmetic problems. 

In 2004, Mr Joseph graduated in medicine from the Royal Free and University College Medical School. Prior to this he also gained an intercalated bachelor of science degree in human genetics in 2001.

His surgical training was in London and he then started his higher surgical training in ENT at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford. After further training at Northampton General Hospital, Mr Joseph moved back to London where he was trained by some of the most highly respected surgeons in the country. He trained at various centres of excellence, including the Royal National Throat, Nose and Ear Hospital, St Mary’s Hospital and Charing Cross Hospital.

Mr Joseph gained his Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2014 after which he completed his ENT training in 2015. He completed two fellowships in rhinology, skull base surgery and facial plastic surgery. The first was at the Klinik Hirslanden in Zurich and the second at the Royal National Throat, Nose and Ear Hospital.

Mr Joseph teaches on the faculty of a number of internationally recognised training courses and regularly lectures at academic conferences. His philosophy is that if someone has been referred to him for a specialist opinion, then he must provide the best possible care and management of their condition.

He then worked in several distinct centres across the UK, including Exeter, Leighton Hospital in Crewe, University Hospital of North Midlands and Central Manchester University Hospital.

He performs hip and knee replacements incorporating principles of early functional recovery and the use of enhanced recovery techniques. He is especially interested in treating and managing knee arthritis in young patients using advanced surgical techniques and is additionally trained in the use of customised knee replacements, computer-aided knee replacements and arthroscopic knee surgery.

Mr Naim is actively committed to teaching and has a strong research background. He often presents his research and publishes extensively, for example, he co-authored a chapter in a significant reference textbook on knee reconstruction replacement and revision which was then published across the USA.
